BRANDE PROUD OF BESTSELLER’S SUPPORT OF LOCAL PROJECTS
Six organisations in BESTSELLER’s hometown of Brande have received support from our new local sponsorship concept.
Throughout BESTSELLER’s long history in Brande, our company has always supported the local community and the new ‘Brande-pulje’ – as it is known in Danish – is simply a continuation of that tradition.
To kick-start the ‘Brande-pulje’, we have chosen six organisations to support – Brande Taekwondo Club, Bondegården Brande, Urban Street Zone, Brande Theatre Company, Verdensmiddag and Brande Street Art Festival – and produced a video (see above) that highlights the special relationship between BESTSELLER and Brande.
“It means a lot for the town that BESTSELLER – even though it has become a huge company – actually still remembers where it comes from,” says Majbrit Gasbjerg from Bondegården Brande.
What is the ‘Brande-pulje’?
In order to make our support of the Brande community more systematic, BESTSELLER has introduced a yearly window – from 1 May to 1 June – to apply for local sponsorships.
Applications will be judged on the impact they will have on Brande and surrounding towns, and whether the initiative will inspire pride amongst BESTSELLER colleagues.
“Our goal with the new ‘Brande-pulje’ is to support the projects and initiatives that we believe will be most significant for both the local community and for BESTSELLER. By creating a sponsorship pool, which accepts applications once a year, we will have the best chance to choose the right projects,” says BESTSELLER’s Communications Manager Jesper Stubkier.
